On Saturday, July 27 The Durham Museum is teaming up with Wild West Creations to bring back the Old West! Museum guests will enjoy a rootin’ tootin’ goodtime with a full line-up of activities: • Witness old-fashioned gun fights on the museum’s parking deck • Learn about famous cowboys such Wyatt Earp, Pecos Pete, and Curly Bill as portrayed by Wild West Creations reenactors • Take part in games such as horseshoes • Learn how to lasso • See leather craft and blacksmith demonstrations • Take photos with the Wild West Creations cowboys • Purchase old-fashioned favorites such as root beer and BBQ beef sandwiches in the Soda Fountain • Receive a FREE bandana compliments of First National Bank, while supplies last!!! Wild, Wild West Day is sponsored by First National Bank. Museum admission applies and this event is FREE for Durham Museum members. |
