Historic “Wild West” Entertainment

Welcome to Wild West Creations, an 1880’s cowboy troupe who are unique and 100% authentic. We would like to start this adventure by showing respect and offering an old fashioned thank you to some of the local folk in the Omaha area. Bellevue Berry Farm, Historic General Dodge House, Durham Western Heritage Museum and Berkshire Hathaway …thank you for the photo opportunities at your events and attractions.
Brothers, Frank and Steve Murcek always wanted to be cowboys growing up.
When the got older they camped along the Little Bighorn River in Montana, where Frank and Steve participated in seven years of reenacting the Battle of the Little Bighorn. It was there, sitting around a campfire after the C Troop of the 7th Cavalry broke up when they came up with the idea for “Wild West Creations”. They said goodbye to their Montana friends and headed back home to Omaha, Nebraska.
Once home Frank started the wheels in motion to organize Wild West Creations. Initially, just the two of them performed small reenactment jobs. Frank booked a seasonal “Old West shoot-out” at Vala’s Pumpkin Patch. This performance continued to expand into holding up the train and saloon fights, with occasional card playing cheaters! The popularity grew and required more re-enactors to portray the Wild West! Today, Wild West Creations has 25 re-enactors doing Old West Shows and Living History all over Omaha and in the Midwest!
